Ningaloo Reef has been amazing. Been kayaking, fishing & snorkelling every day in awesome weather. Seen manta rays, skates, dolphins, turtles, a sea snake and lots of brilliant fishes. The guy camping next door to us caught a bronze whaler shark (see pic) and we had shark & chips for dinner one night and shark curry the next- fantastic! We have been camping right on the beach at Winderabandi Point with other campers. Yesterday we decided to move to the best campsite on the Point in search of the "Ultimate Beach Camp". Its a totally private & secluded spot in the dunes with our own beach view. Pics to come. Staying in our paradise till Mon or maybe Tues or maybe forever......

Millstream & Karijini NParks spectacular
Just finished a week at Millstream & Karijini National Parks in the Pilbara. Lots of swimming, hiking and G & T's!!! Finally got the kayaks in the water at Deep Reach & Crossing Pools in Millstream after lugging them across the desert for 1000's of kms!! The gorges of Karijini are absolutely amazing and reallly accessible. Did the Spider Walk at Hancock Gorge where you have to outstretch your hands & legs like a spider to traverse the gorge. The reward is Kermits pool for a refreshingly cold swim. Weano Gorge was cool too where you climb down the Chute with only a handrail to stop you from sliding down the slippery chute into the icy pool below!!!
Now off to Ningaloo Reef for a weeks beach camping. Have booked in at Ningaloo Station where you can camp on the beach for $20 per person per week!! Fires allowed yipeee!! Looking forward to kayaking amongst dolphins and manta rays & catching some fish for dinner. Apparently the whale sharks are still around too so keen to check them out from close by.
Monopoly championship stands at 1-1!!
Cheers us XXXXX
